Edge Support Services

Edge offers a wide variety of support services for students. From school to community resources, there is something that can help students with any problem. If you are in need of any kind of assistance, please do not be hesitate to reach out to a staff member.

 

  • Academic support services: teacher office hours and UA interns
  • Social/emotional support: Edge has two licensed social workers on campus, who both have a background in mental health and adolescent and family advocacy
  • Community mental health help: Pathways and COPE help available through Edge, mental health specialists come to assess and assist students with getting on AHCCCS, seeing different mental health professionals for medication, counseling, and ongoing treatment
  • Sspecial education support for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
  • Post-secondary assistance: Pima Community College and JTED representatives who come to discuss post-secondary college planning and career readiness
  • YOTO (Youth on Their Own): assistance for homeless youth, including food, hygiene, and school supplies, bus passes, and small stipends for good attendance and grades
  • Employment support: resume and employment workshops on campus
