Tucson Mountain Park Trip

A group of Sahuarita Edge High School students recently went on a field trip with Steve Russell of Pima County Environmental Field Study Programs to attend the Geology of the Tucson Mountains course. This was an excellent opportunity to see first hand the geologic features evident in the area and to gain understanding into how the Tucson Mountains and basin were formed over time. The weather was cool and students were able to see the rock formations and petroglyphs of Arrastre Wash.
