Edge awarded Qwest/ AzTEA Foundation grant for Micro-Lending service learning project.
Thanks in part to a ten thousand dollar grant from Qwest Communications, Himmel Park student service learners will not only focus on completing volunteer hours in the community, but will also have the opportunity to participate in an international micro-lending project through Kiva.org.
Sam Hughes Neighborhood SSL
Edge Himmel Park students are working with the Sam Hughes Neighborhood Association to spray paint house address numbers on street curbs. The numbers will make emergency response time quicker for EMS, fire, and police.
